Loris Vercelli (real name of LoVer) was born in Turin and lives and works in Turin, Italy.
A creative copywriter in advertising until 2020, he is now a painter and writer by passion.
Over the years, he has experimented with various techniques and media,
but he now focuses on manual digital drawing through graphic and illustration software,
rejecting the use of AI, which he believes lacks soul and sensitivity.
Though he will tell you that a computer can never replace the feeling of a brush on canvas or a pen on paper,
Loris Vercelli’s ability to master both traditional and digital tools
has opened up new opportunities for him.
The theme of his drawings is always linked to eroticism and sensuality,
drawing inspiration from the erotic pages
of great poets such as Charles Baudelaire, Allen Ginsberg, Charles Bukowski,
Leonard Cohen, Pierre Louÿs, and others.
Loris Vercelli has also participated in numerous group exhibitions in Italy and France.
